Fashion is a part of everyone’s life. It is not just about the latest runway look but a way to express and show personality, a non-verbal form of communication that shows one’s identity, making it unique to each individual. I see a limitless exploration opportunity in fashion and its significant influence on society. This fast-paced industry encourages experimentation and lots of creative thinking which intrigues me. The most enticing thing about it for me is that fashion blossoms the unexpected.

I found out that I have been drawn to fashion throughout my childhood years, paying attention to how people dress and how different types of garments fall on top of distinct bodies. I realized that fashion has also helped me develop a form of self expression with different styles. I am particularly drawn to the business side of fashion, but who knows where my path will take me since I will be learning other fashion aspects here in London. With that being said, studying fashion will surely release my inner creativity and help with my creative journey.

Personally, I couldn’t think of a better place to study fashion other than in London. This city has diverse cultures and meeting people from different backgrounds is always interesting, there’s always something new to discover. Especially when this city is known as a fashion capital, I can get plenty of ideas and inspiration, as well as access to a lot of resources. What’s more, its trend is inadvertently influenced by people from all over the world as they come here to pursue their studies. Other than that, given its vibrant atmosphere, it would definitely be an unforgettable experience studying here. I do believe that living and studying in a diverse city will also make me grow as a person in many ways. There are a lot of job opportunities too, which will benefit me in building my career.

Last but not least, after a week being here, I must say that it feels like I am living a much different reality than before, there’s a lot to figure out. Things were a bit overwhelming at the start, but I’m slowly understanding them. I also noticed that people here are very friendly! I am quite sure that I’ll have the best memories in London.
